If the modal window for scanning the token QR code isn’t appearing in WIPERAPP, it could be due to various reasons as discussed below.
WIPERAPP requires a stable internet connection to verify the key.wiperapp file, and it may not work correctly if connected via Wi-Fi. Ensure the system is connected to the internet using a LAN cable for a stable and reliable connection. Alternatively, you can use USB tethering to share internet from a mobile phone via a USB cable. Both options provide the required network stability for successful token validation.
WIPERAPP prioritizes detecting the key.wiperapp token file on the USB drive. If the token is present in the root directory of the USB, the QR code scanning option may not appear. Check the USB drive for the token file. If it’s there, remove it and restart WIPERAPP to trigger the QR code scanning modal.
If you’re using an outdated version of WIPERAPP, the QR code scanning feature might not be supported or could have bugs. Update WIPERAPP to the latest version from the official website to ensure all features are functional. Refer to the Download WIPERAPP ISO documentation to download the latest version of WIPERAPP.
